St. Rita High School Announces The 2025 Joseph J. Jasica Jr. Memorial Art Scholarship Recipients
On Wednesday, February 19, we honored six of our Ritamen who were selected by Mrs. Karen Omastiak, the daughter of Joseph Jasica, and her husband Michael as recipients of this year’s Joseph J. Jasica Jr. (‘52) Memorial Art Scholarship.
In 2006, Raymond Jasica (‘55), Robert Jasica (‘57), and their families established the Joseph J. Jasica Jr. (‘52) Memorial Art Scholarship. Their brother, Joseph Jasica, was not only a St. Rita graduate himself, but was also the grandfather of Mark (‘08) and Brian (‘11) Omastiak. The Jasica family has hosted this scholarship competition to celebrate the memory of their brother and elevate St. Rita High School’s Art program showcasing the incredible talents and creativity of our Ritamen.
Recipients received their commemorative award from Mr. and Mrs. Omastiak, Art Teacher Mrs. Sarah Arteaga, Principal Mr. Josh Blaszak ‘02, and President Deacon John Donahue, J.D. Ed.D.
Congratulations to the following Ritamen:
Scholarship Recipients: Kellan Clifford ‘28, Oscar Cuevas ‘28, Gavin Johnson ‘28, Santino Pociask ‘28, and Alex Sullivan ‘28
