Coppinger
The Coppinger House is named in memory of St. Rita High School’s first graduate, Mr. John Joseph Coppinger. Mr. Coppinger completed St. Rita’s business program in 1908.
The Coppinger House represents the St. Rita of Cascia student body and its 23,548 alumni.
Crawford
The Crawford House is named in memory of St. Rita High School’s 7th Principal, Rev. Fancis P. Crawford, O.S.A. Fr. Crawford led St. Rita through the 1960′s and is known for his love of boxing.
The Crawford House represents St. Rita of Cascia High School’s tradition of excellence in athletics.
Fink
The Fink House is named in memory of St. Rita High School’s 5th Principal, Rev. Ruellan P. Fink, O.S.A. Fr. Fink led St. Rita through The Great Depression and period of growth for the school.
The Fink House represents the longevity of St. Rita of Cascia High School’s tradition of excellence.
Green
The Green House is named in memory of St. Rita High School founder, Very Rev. James F. Green, O.S.A. Fr. Green remained the prinicpal of St. Rita until 1922.
The Green House represents the beginning of St. Rita of Cascia High School’s 107 year tradition of excellence in educating young men.
Merchant
The Merchant House is named in honor of St. Rita High School’s first African American student, Mr. McAlister Merchant. Amid an era of civil rights, Mr. Merchant enrolled at St. Rita in 1957 and was a member of the class of 1961.
The Merchant House represents the diversity present at St. Rita of Cascia High School.
Misiora
The Misiora House is named in memory of St. Rita High School’s longtime History teacher, Mr. James Misiora. Mr. Misiora, a 1972 graduate, taught for 30 years at St. Rita and was a true leader to the faculty and staff.
The Misiora House represents the faculty and staff’s commitment to excellence at St. Rita of Cascia High School.
Racky
The Racky House is named in memory of St. Rita High School’s longtime English teacher, Dr. Donald Racky, Jr. Dr. Racky, a 1954 graduate, taught for 42 years at St. Rita and was instrumental in establishing its Advanced Placement program.
The Racky House represents St. Rita of Cascia’s excellence in academics.
Seary
The Seary House is named in memory of Rev. John Seary, O.S.A. Fr. Seary is credited with composing the St. Rita Fight Song.
The Seary House represents school spirit at St. Rita and the school’s tradition of excellence in fine arts.
