St. Rita Contributes to Haiti Relief Efforts
For Immediate Release February 1, 2010
The St. Rita of Cascia High School Family recently joined together to help assist those affected by the earthquakes in Haiti. Through a special mission collection and all-school spirit day the students, faculty, and staff of St. Rita raised a total of $3000 for the work being done by Catholic Relief Services in Haiti following the disaster. The two fundraising efforts were organized by The Center for Campus Ministry at St. Rita and St. Rita’s Student Government.
Sophomore Dan Ladd (St. Cajetan) dresses in St. Rita of Cascia High School spirit clothes and offers a contribution to St. Rita’s Student Government Officers to be used to assist individuals in Haiti following the recent earthquakes. The spirit day and a special mission collection raised $3000 to help the earthquake victims.
