Joseph J. Jasica Jr. Art Scholarship Information

Subject-matter: Artists choice

Finished Pieces: They can be completed in any of the following two-dimensional mediums:

1. Watercolor
2. Oils
3. Acrylics
4. Mixed media (colored pencil + watercolor, pastels and pencils)
5. Pencil
6. Photography

Sizes of the finished pieces

1. No smaller than 11X14 and no larger than 18X24 inches

Contest Procedure:

All materials are the artist’s responsibility.

When presented for consideration, the piece must be in its finished form and ready for framing.

1.  Carefully transport your work so that tears, wrinkles, smudges, etc. do not occur.
2. Use good quality materials so that your work will stand the test of time.
3. A short written piece must accompany your work, detailing an explanation of your piece. ( One Page entry form)
4. All work must be original art work

Deadline for student entries: November 1, 2012

Decision on Winners will be completed by: January, 2013

Judges decisions are final.

WINNING ENTRIES WILL BECOME THE PROPERTY OF ST. RITA OF CASCIA HIGH SCHOOL AS PART OF THE SCHOOL’S PERMANENT COLLECTION.
