St. Rita hosted its annual “Academic Olympics” pitting local 7th and 8th grade young men and women against each other in an individual academic competition. 110 boys and girls from over 30 grade schools competed in subjects such as Math, Science, Social Studies, and English. The competition lasted two hours with each grade school student having to answer a series of questions in the above mentioned subjects.
“Competitions like these are what St. Rita is all about,” stated Admissions Director, Craig Ferguson. “This is a great opportunity to show the community that St. Rita is both dedicated to the academic excellence of their young men and they can have some fun while
doing it.”
St. Rita will be hosting Father/Son Night on Tuesday, October 30th for all 7th and 8th grade boys and their dads. For information on the event, please visit our website at www.stritahs.com or contact Craig Ferguson at 773.925.7482.
