The Ritan has a long tradition at St. Rita, with its first issue appearing in 1930. A newspaper for the students and run by the students, The Ritan provides coverage of and insight into the major events happening at the school. Currently, the Ritan staff produces six eight-page issues per school year, although sometimes special issues have twelve pages. Writing, Photography and Layout Design are the major categories in which students can contribute.
